Russian Maritime Register of Shipping


	1 March 2012 Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has opened a new office in the capital of the Republic of Panama. The new office will facilitate the organisation of quality and timely request performance in the Republic of Panama, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean,Colombia as well as Venezuela and Ecuador. Dmitry Posokhov has been appointed as the manager of the new office. The new office was established within the RS strategic plans for the expansion of the RS worldwide presence. The RS Regional Office for Atlantic Area, launched in December 2011, with its headquarters in Germany (Hamburg) coordinates all requests in Europe, North and South America. The Design and Newbuilding Support Centre opening in Republic of Korea (Busan) will take place on 7 March 2012 and will be followed later by the establishment of the new RS office in Italy (Genoa).
