Development of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping Requirements for Ships Intended for Operation under Low Temperatures
The article considers the up-to-date international requirements for ships to ensure their long-term service in the Arctic and Antarctic. The approach of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping to the development of requirements for ships with ANTI-ICE and WINTERIZATION distinguishing marks in the class notation is set forth, the above requirements will be introduced into the RS Rules, 2008-2009, as well as the structure of requirements being developed is presented.
