Declaration of dangerous goods

The RS takes a comprehensive approach in offering services in the area of multimodal transportation of dangerous goods, in particular, it renders dangerous goods declaring services, including:

  • expertise of documents on dangerous goods;
  • expertise and registration of declarations on dangerous goods;
  • survey of dangerous goods;
  • certification of containers, packaging and packages;
  • expertise of dangerous goods transportation by various means of transport;
  • surveyor service.

This results in the issue of documents required for dangerous goods transportation, as follows:

  • Dangerous goods multimodal declaration under the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code;
  • certificates of an international standard for containers, packaging or packages;
  • expert conclusion on transportation of dangerous goods by rail;
  • survey report.

The services are rendered on the basis of:

  • RS recognition as a designated national competent authority in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (chapter 7.9 of the IMDG Code);
  • license of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation MT 1006 No 016875;
  • directions of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No.ÌÔ-34/195 of 23.03.1998 and No. ÂP-57-p of 28.06.2001;
  • order of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No ÂP-22/324 of 22.02.2001;
  • Accreditation certificate of Gosstandart of Russia No POCC RU.0001.11TÁ03 of 17.09.99.

RS renders services under the requirements of:

  • International Convention for the Safe Containers, 1972;
  • Customs Convention on Containers, 1972;
  • International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code;
  • Code of Safe Practice for Solid Bulk Cargoes;
  • RF Federal Law “Merchant Shipping Code”;
  • National Regulations for Sea transport of dangerous goods;
  • Regulations for the Safe Carriage by Sea of Bulk Cargoes other than Grain;
  • Technical instructions on safe transport of dangerous goods by air;
  • other international and national documents.
