Certification within the GOST R Certification System

RS has an international recognition and many years' experience in certification of products and materials for ships and a wealth of experience in certification of general purpose industrial products within GOST R certification system.

The following RS Certification Body has been accredited by ROSTEKHREGULIROVANIYE:

RS carries out certification of products, acting as a party independent both of the manufacturer and the customer.

Certification is carried out on the basis of an Application.

The certification procedure results in the issuance of a Certificate of Conformity, which is required to undergo the customs formalities and to market goods throughout Russia.

Certification is carried out in compliance with the requirements of the following requirements:

  • RF Law “On Basic Technical Regulation in the Russian Federation”,
  • RF Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights”,
  • RF Law “On Ensuring Measurement Uniformity”,
  • Rules for Performing Certification in the Russian Federation.

Depending on the Customs Code for the products there are two kinds of the GOST R certification: mandatory or voluntary.

Certification is carried out to verify compliance of the products with the requirements of:

For product range, which is not included in the list of mandatory GOST R certification, voluntary GOST R certificates can be issued to verify compliance of the products with the requirements of Russian standards, technical specifications and other normative documents defined by the applicant.
