Ship security verification

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) ship surveys for conformity with International Ship and Port facility Security Code (ISPS Code).

RS has a network of representations both in Russia and abroad that are staffed with trained experts in maritime security whose qualifications are in conformity with international requirements for ship surveys to be carried out worldwide and at short notice.

RS is authorized by many Maritime Administrations to provide services connected with plan approval, ship surveys and issuance of International Certificates (see authorization status).

List of services

Being a recognized organization for security, RS undertakes to:

• Consider and approve ship security plans and amendments thereto on behalf of Administrations.
• Carry out ship surveys under SOLAS '74 Chapter XI-2 and ISPS Code on behalf of Administrations.
• Issue and endorse International Ship Security Certificates on behalf of Administrations.
